It is with disappointment that we share that the community public address (PA) system at the Gilpin Building is no longer operational.

The Omaha Tribe made a significant investment to provide this sound system as a resource for community events, gatherings, and programs held at the Gilpin Building. Unfortunately, over the weekend, the equipment sustained damage that has rendered it unusable.

Effective immediately, there will no longer be a PA system available for community use at the Gilpin Building.

This equipment is costly to repair or replace and is intended to be operated only by trained individuals. We ask everyone to help protect and respect community resources so they can continue to serve our people for years to come.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation as we evaluate our options moving forward.
