We would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who helped make this year’s school-supply and backpack distribution possible!

A special thank you to OTHA’s Venetia Wolfe and her crew, who ordered approximately 300–350 school-supply items in bulk, including pencils, 24-count crayons, scissors, glue, and pencil bags. What a wonderful idea!

Thank you to Kelvin Grant and Norton of PAHE Grocery Store for donating markers, tablets, 16-count crayons, pens, scissors, and pencil bags.

We also appreciate Sheena Grant, Alena Webster, and Riley Galvin for donating backpacks and Kleenex.

Thank you to Raylene Lasley and Narissa Pappan for picking up additional backpacks, water bottles, and Kleenex for our younger students, which were donated by the Tribal Council.

As of August 25, 2026:

🎒 Alena distributed 120 backpacks in Walthill.
🎒 Raylene distributed 220 backpacks in Macy.
🎒 Only 26 backpacks remain.

Each backpack for the younger students included glue, pencils, crayons, scissors, Kleenex, and a water bottle while supplies lasted. Older students received pens, markers, tablets, and a water bottle while supplies lasted.

Because of everyone’s generosity, teamwork, and willingness to volunteer, hundreds of children in Macy and Walthill received supplies to help them begin the school year prepared and confident.

Thank you for investing in our children and showing what can be accomplished when our community works together! Your kindness and support are truly appreciated. ❤️
