OUR PURPOSEOur Mission
The Omaha Tribe Enrollment Office is to assist all tribal membership with enrollment and all other enrollment documents. Maintain all files with confidentiality and accuracy, assist with the application process and other needs of the membership.
Our Services
Enrollment staff will assist with documentation requests and the application process. They work closely with the Tribal Council and the Enrollment Committee to update the policies and procedures of the Omaha Tribe Enrollment Office.

The Omaha Tribe has approved policies and procedures, which are available upon written request. The Enrollment Committee has bylaws that govern its practices, which are also available upon written request. The Enrollment Committee completes a yearly review of the policies and procedures, and any changes/updates are presented to the Tribal Council for approval.

📢 Enrollment Process Information
Please be aware of the following monthly enrollment process:
📅 Every second Friday: Deadline to submit enrollment applications.
✅ Every third week: Completed enrollment applications will be reviewed by the Enrollment Committee.
📝 Every fourth week: Applications will be placed on the Tribal Council agenda, pending scheduling.
To prevent delays, please ensure your application is complete and submitted by the monthly deadline.
Omaha Tribe License Plate Notice
🚨 IMPORTANT LICENSE PLATE NOTICE 🚨
Tribal members registering for license plates must take one of the following documents with them to the DMV:
• Tribal ID
• Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB)
Please plan ahead—the Enrollment Office will not fax or email these documents to the DMV.
Remember to bring your Tribal ID or CIB with you to avoid delays in the registration process.

📢 Omaha Tribe Enrollment Office—Tribal ID Instructions by Email
Tribal members requesting a Tribal ID by email must submit the following:
📸 Photo
• 3-by-5 photo showing the top of your head to below your arms
• Use a solid-colored background and good lighting
• Save the photo as a JPEG file
✍️ Signature
• Sign your first name, middle initial and last name on blank white paper using a medium black permanent marker
• Take a clear photo of your signature and save it as a JPEG file
📝 Updated information
• Current physical and mailing addresses
• Height and weight
• Hair and eye color
• Date of birth
• Name-change documentation, if applicable
Fees
• First Tribal ID: $10
• Replacement Tribal ID: $15
• A receipt will be provided once the fee is paid

Tribal ID Update
📢 Omaha Tribe Tribal ID Update
The Omaha Tribe Enrollment Office has updated its Tribal ID cards and is now offering Minor Tribal ID cards for enrolled members ages 14–21.
💳 Fees
• First Tribal ID: $10
• Replacement Tribal ID: $15
Both the updated Tribal ID and new Minor Tribal ID feature a refreshed design. Contact the Omaha Tribe Enrollment Office for additional information.
Enrollment New Mailing Address
The Enrollment office has a new emailing address. Do not mail to PO Box 368. The new mailing address is PO Box 8, Macy, Nebraska, 68039.
