When we are Born of this world, we are automatically born into the Native American Church, Born in Battle, A Godly People, the Chosen People, to keep the heritage of peace in this region, we are Umóⁿhoⁿ, our Xubey Ni’ashin’ga (Medicine Men), the Chiefs of our tribe gave authority to this way of life, the only other circle of life we shall sit in is the Hede’ Wachi Hethuska, no other, we are grounded people belonging to to our mother, Earth, four times a year you will sit down besides each other and pray for one another, you will pray for spirituality of identity, : culture tradition heritage language, recognize prayer, the power with in you, to verbalize from your heart and mind, our ancestors left instructions from God himself to take that holy tobacco and when the seasons change, take that tobacco and unify in prayer together, tell me, Wakonda, what you need what you want.
I “Wakonda” will make it that way, put that sacrifice out there and I will see it that way for you, this is the responsibility of our people, to keep each other in good standings, I hope this finds you in a good way, we the Umóⁿhoⁿ have come to one of those times of the year July 17th 18th a time set aside to come together and do what was instructed for us to do. To honor our ancestors for the lives that we have today, and pray for the ones that are coming, the unborn, elders, ailing, orphans, veterans, bring your depression, your addiction, anxiety, tell Wakonda, and he will lift the burden from you. We will sit down tonight and pray for all the Umóⁿhoⁿ. In the four directions, all native tribes and nations, we will pray for peace around the world. These are my words to you and your invitation. Together, we are strong, Umóⁿhoⁿ Strong, Aho all my relations!!
