Kacyn is the daughter of Vanessa Harlan and granddaughter of Arnie Harlan. She is currently a junior at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, majoring in Sports Media with a focus in Advertising and Public Relations.

This semester, Kacyn is expanding her education abroad in Greece, where she’ll be taking advertising courses, an English course, and a music course to fulfill her credits at UNL—all while gaining global experience and perspective.

Kacyn’s advice for other students and young people in our community: “Just say yes. Say yes to everything—even when it’s scary or uncomfortable. Sometimes that little step is all you need.”
