We were honored to visit with tribal members and community partners to share information about the upcoming 2026 Dhegiha Conference. The meeting had a great turnout, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to attend, ask thoughtful questions, and participate in meaningful discussions.
The conversations reflected the importance of preserving and strengthening our Dhegiha languages, cultures, and traditions for future generations. Your ideas, perspectives, and commitment to our people help ensure that this conference continues to be a place where we learn from one another, celebrate our shared heritage, and build stronger connections across our Dhegiha Nations.
The Omaha Tribe Language & Culture Program extends its sincere gratitude to the Nebraska Urban Indian Health Coalition for hosting this outreach meeting and to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2026 Dhegiha Conference as we continue working together to preserve our language, honor our ancestors, and inspire future generations.
Thank you for your continued support! ❤️💛💚🖤
