On Thursday, September 17, 2026, the Omaha Tribal Council honored Sidnie Galvin for graduating from the tribal police academy.

Sidnie was a member of the first class of tribal police recruits to graduate from the Indian Country Police Officer Training Program at Camp Grafton Training Center near Devils Lake, North Dakota, on September 15, 2026.

During the recognition, Sidnie received a blessing from Chief Tribal Officer Calvin Harlan as she prepared to begin her service with Omaha Tribe Law Enforcement.
