It has been brought to our attention that some of the VISA Gift Cards have been hacked.  Please be informed that I have been in contact with both Hy-Vee, where we purchased the cards, and VISA Gift Card Customer Service.

Hy-Vee said they would get in touch with me, tomorrow when the Manager is in the office.  The VISA Customer Service said to let people know that they can call 1-888-524-1283 and provide them with the information that they need to resolve the issue.

Also, a bit of advice…  When you receive your gift card, please refrain from going on-line to check the balance or register them.  It is our belief that a hacker is online, waiting for people to enter their numbers, so they can use them.

I am sorry that this is happening.  All the Omaha Tribe wanted was to help our children with school clothing, we had no idea something such as this would happen.
