🏠 Omaha Tribe Home Improvement Program – Applications Available!
The Omaha Tribe is accepting applications for the Home Improvement Program (HIP), funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). This program is designed to help eligible Omaha Tribal citizens improve the safety, comfort, and efficiency of their homes.
Deadline to Apply: August 1, 2026.
Available Programs:
🪟 Window Replacement Program
Replace aging windows with energy-efficient windows to help keep your home warmer during the winter while reducing heating costs.
🏡 Home Skirting & Heat Wrapping Program
Install or replace home skirting and heat-wrap water pipes to help prevent frozen pipes and improve living conditions during the colder months.
Who Can Apply?
✔️ Enrolled members of the Omaha Tribe
✔️ Homeowners and renters
✔️ Must reside within the Omaha Tribe’s service area
Application Checklist:
📋 Completed HIP Application
🪪 Proof of Tribal Enrollment
🏠 Proof of Home Ownership or Rental Agreement
📄 Statement confirming the home is your primary residence
➕ Additional documentation may be required for veteran status or medical/disability priority points.
