Phones for Elders

The Gilpin Building will be open for the elders to get a free phone and service. Starting from 9am-noon on Wednesday, 5/27/26!

Eligible elders can receive a FREE phone and service. To qualify, please bring:
• Social Security Card
• Tribal ID or State ID
• Current Social Security COLA Statement

We are grateful for this opportunity to help keep our elders connected and supported with a phone and service. Please help spread the word to elders who may benefit from this service. We look forward to seeing elders at the Gilpin Building!

At this time, the phones will only offered on this day and time only. If that changes we will post an update on the Omaha Tribe website only.

Elders have to have an address on the reservation to be eligible and if they don’t, have a Social Security card, they could use other programs are such as Medicaid Medicare snap or even a commodity program programs but the main thing is they gotta have a address on the reservation they could live in Omaha, for example and having an address here they can get one, but if they don’t have an address here they’re not eligible
