The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska has received approval to continue its Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program for another three years, from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2029!

This approval supports the Tribe’s continued work to assist families and build a stronger future for our community. The Tribe’s TANF plan met the applicable federal requirements—an accomplishment worth celebrating and a meaningful step forward for the families who depend on this support.
